Designed by engineers, this software interface runs inside AutoCad and customizes its commands for 3D digital data capture. No longer do you have to rely on conversion programs to convert the data from your mapping software into AutoCAD drawings. Too often these programs corrupt the data or produce unexpected results. (Sound familiar?) By drawing directly into AutoCAD, your line types, symbols, and all other details will come up exactly as your client desires.
Acad-Xpress provides the end users a simple and friendly way in obtaining maximum efficiency in collecting the 3D data, using the popular Polytel Keyport 300. This input device is loaded with your favorite data capture routines and by merely pressing the Polytel button a command is executed to improve operator productivity and repetitive operations. In other cases, were you might have specific project requirements, you may easily customize your Keyport to produce immediate results, which comply with your client need.
Optimized for digital mapping within AutoCad, Acad-Express powerful routine provides a rich set of commands for easy generation of lines, splines, symbols, vectors, arcs and curves. Special functions such as: Real-time Panning, 3D Line patterning, Automatic Squaring of polygons, Labeling of contours, "Z" lock, Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) capture routines (for Analytical Stereoplotters only) and measurements by incremental recording using distance and angle criteria, are among the few functions provided with Acad-Xpress to reduce data capture time and simplify editing.
